Hi friends Describe the difference between a Thread and a Process?

This question has been asked a few times recently. My article An Introduction to Virtual Memory in Windows also describes processes but it does not say much about threads but I hope it helps. Note that there is something called Domains that make everything confusing. Most applications exist as a process but sometimes such as online IIS applications can exist in a process along with many other online applications. Other than that all applications exist in an exe file and are executed in a process with one and only one address space. If you can find previous threads (forum discussions) about this question then you will get previous answers also.

Threads (of the same process) run in a shared memory space while processes run in separate memory spaces both processes and threads are independent sequences of execution.
