WPF chart-binding data from WCF

Question

i have created pie chart in wpf i nedd to bind data from database to this chart from wcf how to write code in wcf and bind it to this pie chart of wpf.Means i need to write sql query in wcf extract the result and bind it to chart.

i'm new to wcf and wpf

Can any1 help me on this.

Hi I did same application and binding of data thr service to wpf chart is susccesful. when i run my wpf application getting error like this 'The invocation of the constructor on type 'Wpf_chart_Binding_data_using_wcf_new.MainWindow' that matches the specified binding constraints threw an exception.' Hi This errors occures when we r not declared a method with the [OperationContract] attribute in the interface for the service . Please chk this. Thanks.

If i write code in service.cs file and follow the same steps that mentioned in that link i'm getting error when i run wcf application like this ContractDescription 'IService' has zero operations; a contract must have at least one operation.

Hi Just use mentioned service code for datano need to pass values in textbox . we hv to bind chart(IndependantValues and DependantValues). so just retrieve those data from service as i retrieve CustomerName And CusomerId from service. bind CustomerName and IndependantValues and CustomerID as DependantValues. Hi I am really sorry for that my silverlight application was open. Your right. Now u have WPFApplication1 rightclick on that add wcfservicethen u will get service interface IService.cs and Service1.cs file(in silverlight i had silverlightenabled service(service.svc.cs).
