Time out error occur

Question

i am instal SQL server2005 in my computer and i open the sql server 2005 and attach a database then close sqlserver 2005 and i open SQL server 2005 but a Time out  error occur

Try to look at the Windows event. what's happening why its getting timed out. which resource is getting locked?? hope it should be your sql instance which is not responding. so try to findout the error logs which are created for any instance in %SysDir%/programfiles/mssqlserver/.../.../ directory.. Hope this could find some useful information about this problem . Thanks.
