Tips for beginners

Question

I currently got hired on as an Applications Developer and am truely green to development. I am curretly coding C# with VisualStudios 2008 with. I went through college but am finding it hard to translate to real world applications. Any of you have tips finding answers though search engines? Or books I should be reading up on? - Thanks

There are lot of tutorials available but practice is the best once you go through the tutorials. Yes there are so many Tutorials as RJ suggested. But if you want to be a champ then Master in OOPS is a must do. OOPS is the basic.. So 1st go-through that.. Then you can understand each and every concept.

Thanks RJ! I have gone through the channel9 tutorials(which where very good) but I'll take a look at csharp station's tutorials as well.
