When you want for example get the value of textbox1 on form2 from form1 You can use something like this: in Form2 : public string getTextBoxVal() { return textBox1.Text; } in Form1 you can use this way to retrieve textbox val using getTextBoxVal() function : Form2 f2 = new Form2 (); f2.ShowDialog(); MessageBox .Show( f2.getTextBoxVal());

in form1 public static class abc { public static string a; } abc.a=TextBox1.text; in form2 using abc.a gives u the text in textbox use access modifiers according to ur need
