Transfer event from parent form to child form

Hi all I have a problem. That is i have a MDI application and parent form will have a toolbar contain some button as Save, Open,.... The question is how I can press button Save and this action will invoke the function in the active child form to save its data appropriate Thanks for advance

Hi Well it is not that hard. Create a Save menuItem click event. In there ChildWindow cWin = new ChildWindow(); // say the textbox contains value of 1 string getValue = cWin.textBo1.text; You will get the value and say store in a txt file. Hope it helps. Cheers.
