Transition between images

Question

I would like to program image transition effects. Here there a topic somewhere wich is explaining how to do this ? Can I have a really easy sample such as zooming transition ? Regards Fabien Mas

Hi For performance I would recommend using a Direct3D sprite. You can create your textures using a color key for transparency and enable alpha blending and achieve the same results you are achieving with GDI+ but in a much more efficient manner.

Here a sample of my code: I create an array of bitmap for the double buffering then I call this function x times to fill it then I display bitmap after bitmap iwith a timer For sure it is working but it's quite slow any idea to increase the speed ?
