type Text in combo box in windows application c#

Question

In bill details I have customer combo box, when inserting records I will save customer combobox value, but now instead of selecting combobox customer, I wanted to type customer name in combo box, how can i achieve this

when inserting record to bill table befor that you can insert customer details customer name into cutomer table then take maximum id from that table then you can get this id save this id instead of selected value in billing detail table

you can check like this declare one string if selected index is save customer name in cutomer table then get that id and assign this id in string variable else assign selected value into that string then you can save this string in bill detail
