Unable to access SQL database in SQL sever management

Question

I have forgot my sa password and when i try to login through Windows Authentication I am unable to access the specific database.

Hi Don't worry. If you can see the database in the Object Explorer then you can right click on the desired database ->Properties->Files in the Database Files grid go to Path column. It is where your DB resides. hope it helps. Thanks. Cheers.... :)

My database is avalaible in SSMS browser but i am unable to find it in my machine. Please guide for the same. I tried to search it with the same name which is showing in SSMS in Database tree but when i search it doesn't show any convenient result.

Hi Simplest way is stop the SQL service copy the database. Re-install the sql server. Thanks. :)

Please reinstall it. i don't think so there is any to get login into the system because the server is not allowed to access by windows authentication
