there must be some error somewhere, r u logging any errors? most of the local\dev. PCs have MS Office already installed so any code dealing with excel works fine the server may not have MS Office installed, that's why the same code does not work on server. you may need to install/place excel com interop dll on server.

In the server, we have already install msoffice.
