Unable to Update in C# Access 2003

cm = new OleDbCommand();
cm.CommandText = "update tab1 set id=@id,name=@name,number=@number";
cm.Connection = cn;
cm.Parameters.AddWithValue("@id", id);
cm.Parameters.AddWithValue("@name", textBox1.Text.Trim());
cm.Parameters.AddWithValue("@number", textBox2.Text.Trim());
cm.ExecuteNonQuery();

Is there anything wrong in this code,
it gives Syntax Error of UPDATE statement

I don't think you can use 'named' parameters in the update statement itself if you're writing to MS Access via OleDb. You have to use question marks instead. So instead of this line: cm.CommandText = update tab1 set id=@idname=@namenumber=@number; try this one: cm.CommandText = update tab1 set id=? name=? number=?; but leave the rest of the code unaltered.
