unload or exit application

Question

Hello Sir I'm here again! hehehe.... Sir I need your help once again. I have a main form and login form. The scenario here is if the user will close the login form it should be the the whole application will close or exit. How will i do this Sir? Actually Sir I'm developing a system now for my thesis. I am a graduating I.T student. Thank you very much!

Ok Sir i just change the close() method to Hide() on if the username and password is correct and it working and of course I add the code that you suggest . Thank you Sir. hehehehe

Try: private void PasswordForm_FormClosed(object sender FormClosedEventArgs e) { if (e.CloseReason == CloseReason.UserClosing) Application.Exit(); } It should then only close the whole application if the user has pressed the X button or otherwise closed the form from the UI.

Sorry Sir but when i try to login and then the password and username is correct so obviously the login form only will close but the whole application will all close. When the user closes the login form then its FormClosed event will fire. So if you add a handler for that (go to the form's Properties Box and double click on the FormClosed event) and insert Application.Exit() within the handler then it should do what you want.
