Hi everyone I want to ask how to read a USB stream in C# is there any library for that.

You can't read the data without the documentation. You are ignoring that problem so I must emphasize it. You have to read the documentation. The device won't work without the documentation.

Sam thanx for ur useful help suppose that i have the documentation how can i read from the USB port that is my question may be if i do not have the documentation i will read unuseful charachter but actually i do not know how to read from USB in serial communication i can read through event in serial componant but in USB case there is no USB control to use it.

You must get the documentation for the device. There is no standard for cameras or devices such as that.

Mr sam think of it as a camera send streams of data to the PC,its connected through the normal USB port i want to read the stream from that port i hope if u get the idea if there is any thing unclear plz ask me in order to help me Thanx

USB means Universal Serial Bus and some devices can communicate over USB using traditional serial device communication. I assume that the device address ("port") would not be the same as for serial devices but otherwise the communication might be the same. So Kiran's comment might be relevant, although there is also an article in this web site that could help. You say you have "hardware to convert serial to USB"; that hardware should have some documentation. I suggest downlaoding and installing USBDeview . Also the Debugging Tools for Windows has many usefull tools, including USBView.

thanx for ur Reply Kiran this article just for serial Port i need for USB. Sam i do not have any kind of documentation the problem is i have a Hardware that send serially i add an additional hardware to convert serial to USB what i need is to read the streaming that comes from USB

USB supports many communication protocols. You need to refer to the documentation of the device to determine how to communicate with it.
