USB Connection

Question

Hi I am have bought a FPGA main board called Cyclone IV DE0-Nano Development and Education Board . The card has accelerometer so I want to create a program in C# that reads the cards accelerometer data via USB and then draw a graph. I am familiar with drawing the graph but I am unsure on how to build the USB-interface. I havent actually begun learning much yet so am looking for direction on where to start and perhaps where from there on from people who are already well aware of the latest technologies. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi It look like a Uni Home work assignment but can I suggest you need to find the detail of connecting to it via a com port emulation (Serial port class welcome to my world!!!)and possibly have a look at www.lvr.com The Serial Port class is fairly easy to use and go from there. Glenn

You need to change your avatar thing; the picture. It is innapropriate. Next you need to look at the documentation of the board; there are many ways to communicate using USB and no one can tell you how to communicate with that specific hardware without knowing what the documentaion says. Also please look at the articles in this web site. There should be some to help you. Then ask some more specific questions.
