USB How to copy an app and run??

Hi I wonder if there is a way to copy an app (exe) to a specific location on a PC and run it when you plug in to USB drive? Best Regards.

I thought that applications are exedcuted directly from a USB drive in essentially the same way as from any other disk drive. Some software needs to be installed and for software such as that copying to anotjer drive is not likely to have any benefit. If the software needs installation then it can be installed directly from the USB drive. If it were me I would look to see if there is an autorun type of capability instead of using WMI. There might be something that works that does not require anything special to be installed in the system first. WMI would require that a program using WMI be installed already. Of course I probably misunderstand the requirements.
