In SQL Server 2008 there are many methods by which you can take database backup using wizard or query. Create a folder called in your c: drive. In SQL Query Analyzer write the syntax BACKUP DATABASE [test] TO DISK = N'C:\BackupDt150812	est.bak' WITH NOFORMAT NOINIT NAME = N'test-Full Database Backup' SKIP NOREWIND NOUNLOAD STATS = 10 GO
