Use of AutocompleteExtender

Question

Autocomplete extends any asp.net textbox control. It associates that control with a pop up panel to display words that begin with the prefix that is entered into the textbox. I am unable to do this. Please help me with actual code. I have cleared concept of this control, but unable to do it practically.

"word entered in my code" can you elaborate it. Means you are storing the value in database form text box or only entering data to text box

Hey sanjeeb and lalit, your given link is useful if i want data from database. but my requirement is i will enter some word starting from 'a'. and when i write 'a' in my textbox, word entered in my code will show. Please help me and thanks for giving your time. And also i want to do it without using webservice.
