Use of dd tag in HTML

Can anyone tell me the use of tag in HTML?

Try this. In Visual Studio create a HTML file. You can use "File | New | File..." and then select HTML Page. Then switch to Design view; I hope you know how to do that. There should be a toolbar at the tope for doing HTML formatting; if not then select "Formatting" toolbar to be viewed. Then in the formatting toolbar there is a dropdownbox for selecting Paragraph, Headding and other things. One of the other things is "Defined term "; select that. Then type something then press enter then something else the enter then something else. You will see that first the text is not indented then after pressing enter the text will be indented and it will go back and forth each time you press enter. Then switch to Source view to see what the HTML look like. Wew, that took more time to explain than I expected. The following is (I hope) the HTML that corresponds with the sample above. It is for creating definitions of terms. It is for use in a definition list in which each list item has two parts.
