hi for javasript event first of all you must identify the object and identify the event you want to fire for expample I have one dropdown and i want to fire change event of dropdown then below is syntax for same. function changeCombo(obj) { var w = document.getElementById(obj.id).selectedIndex; var selectedtext = document.getElementById(obj.id).options[w].text; document.getElementById(' ').value = selectedtext; } Please refer below link that list out client side event of object http://www.w3schools.com/jsref/dom_obj_event.asp hope this will help you.
