hi, its simple you will have to create a new project and select ASP.net Web Service for project type. and in this project you will have to add your classes and add methods with attribute for webmethods -: [System.Web.Services.WebMethod()] public double FahrenheitToCelsius(double Fahrenheit) { return ((Fahrenheit - 32) * 5) / 9; } you can then consume this service in another web application. please go through this url its important for you to grasp the content. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/8wbhsy70.aspx

hi urmila, If you already have web service ready and url to access it, then all you 'll have to do is add a web reference in your web project by right clicking on the web project in solution explorer. Visual studio will ask for url of the web service. You can invoke the method by creating an object of the referenced web service.
