Hi How we will check the user credentials if user enters the URL in the browser then how it will check this user has permissions or not to access this particular link.

This is Done Using Authentication and Authorization in Asp.net All the username Password Data are Stored in ASPnetDb.mdf by default in asp.net 2.0 and Asp.net Includes all Methods to manipulate Users In Membership Class of Asp.net . .You can also Restrict Particular Category Users to Access Path by Defining Roles to them. and Configuring Web.Config :)

if you want the IIS todo it for you just split users into groups and links by folder permissions if you want todo it in the application you can create a group class and User class bind Users to the groups and links to the groups.
