hi DataTable provides you with the method call SELECT() that accepts expression that we write in WHERE clause in SQL. and if the issue is only related to accessing all records in alphabetic order then you can use DATAVIEW simply assign your datatable to dataview like.... Dataview dv = new Dataview(dt); and provide your alphabetic sorting order to it like.. dv.Sort = ColumnName +   + DESC; Hope this will help you
