Using dot net user control with COM Client

Question

I am facing issue related to COM Interop (CCW).
Let me define you he problm:

1) I have a vb.net control
2) I want to use the same control in vb6.0. so I create a tlb using VS
2005.
3) When I use the same tlb in vb 6.0, properties are not displayed in
property box at design time.
4) Events are dispalyed in the code but it is not getting triggerred

Please let me know where am I wrong

I would appreciate if one can provide me steps to use dot net user control in vb6.0 com client. I sould be able to expose and use properties, method and events.

Did you convert your .NET control to COM control? First you need to convert your .NET control to COM. Also when you design a .NET control to support COM you make sure all types you use are being supported by COM as well otherwise you won't be able to use them. Check COM Interop section of this site to read more article on this issue.
