using modal pop up for diplaying pdf file

Question

i want to display a panel in modal popup when link button is clicked. the panel will have a pdf file or an image or a docx file... for displaying an image i can use image tool..but for pdf what tool can be used?? please help..

Hi You can put an flag in database table to identify whether file is an image or pdf or can check the extension of file name to identify whether it is pdf or image and do appropriate action. If pdf just show it inside an iframe or if image show it in image tag.

Thanks mr.midhun here i am taking the path of pdf/image from database.. the file may be either jpg or pdf..then how can i do??
