Using Twain in ASP.net

Question

I m trying to access scanner using TWAIN. It works in VB.net desktop appl. But wen i do it in ASP
there is a call like "Application.AddMessageFilter" which works in VB.net but is not supported by ASP.net. Is there any alternative 4 dat. Anybdy hvng any ideaaaaa?
