validation of from date and to date DateTimePicker

Question

I've two DateTimePicker controls one is dtp_fromdate and another is dtp_todate. How can I validate that  1. from date and to date should not be greater than today's date 2. from date should be small than to date Thanks!!!

Hello Hadoop Its easy to validate datetimepicker control Sol 1: Set max date of both the controls to current date on form load event As dtp_fromdate.MaxDate = DateTime.Now; dtp_todate.MaxDate = DateTime.Now; so no one can select greater date from Today. Hi In order to validate dates please follow below steps: 1. First collect values from two datepickers using jQuery($(#startDateId).text()) 2. After collecting values convert those values to Date using javascript function like: var startDate = new Date('07-07-2015'); 3. Once you converted those values to date try to compare them as per logic(should not be greater than today's note) If you have any query please reply me here. Thanks.
