Value in which Cache

Hi Please tell me that in which is cache the value were stored whether on the client computer or on the server Regards

The following is what I figure out. Please rectify me If I am wrong Cache is an temporary memory situated on server which is used for storing data to save round trip of database. And we clear the values from cache after completing the query.

Please check out the following example and Tell that what will happen. X requested a page of Y's personal profile the system get's the information from the database and stores the it server's cache for future use and then same day Z also requested the same page and so system found the information in cache and return it to the user. But next day X requested the same page and system doesn't found any information in cache Can you please tell me why the system doesn't found values in cache.

When you use Page output caching(Whole page caching) in ASP.net page by default it is stored at three locations : Client computer(Web browser) Web server Proxy servers This storage location can be changed using Location attributes in OutputCache directive like : (For caching at client side) (For caching at server side) (For caching at both client and server side) Other possible values for Location attributes are Any None and DownStream.
