Found the below on browsing On parent page: type = text/javascript > function f1 () { window . open ( child.aspx ); } ID = TextBox1 runat = server > type = button onclick =  f1 ();  value = pop up /> On child page: type = text/javascript > function f2 () { opener . document . getElementById ( TextBox1 ). value = hello world ; } type = button value = return hello world onclick =  f2 ();  /> Also you can pass ID of control which you want fill from child page as GET parameter: window . open ( child.aspx?controlID=  );
