Found the below on browsing On parent page: type = "text/javascript" > function f1 () { window . open ( "child.aspx" ); } ID = "TextBox1" runat = "server" > type = "button" onclick = " f1 (); " value = "pop up" /> On child page: type = "text/javascript" > function f2 () { opener . document . getElementById ( "TextBox1" ). value = "hello world" ; } type = "button" value = "return hello world" onclick = " f2 (); " /> Also you can pass ID of control which you want fill from child page as GET parameter: window . open ( "child.aspx?controlID= " );
