VC++ project

Question

I am from dot net background and I got an opportunity to work on VC++ project. So, please advice whether it will be is a good choice or not for a dot net resource

Hi Ani, I will be very honest here. VC++ has it's own place and type of applications which are good candidate for VC++. But, in today's world and evolution in type of applications, C# is capable to do most of it. I would suggest get your hands dirty with it and code for a while, it will be fun. But industry demands more C# then VC++. So, it will be safe to assume that there are more jobs for C# than VC++ in today's market. However, anyone who has knowledge of either of the language , will catch up really fast with other one. Hope this helps. Best Wishes.
