video Player in asp.net

Question

hi

right now i was working in video viewer part so we need to upload any video file and user can view that file in video player.

-->I have already tried with windows user control media player as per my analysis, it's not working in chrome and safari and newer version of Mozilla.

internally these control work with in build media player of OS that's OK but real issue is we can't view that viewer file in Linux machine.

So if any one has idea about video player please help.

If you're using HTML 5 then you can try with video tag  but it will not work with lower version of browsers. Your browser does not support the video tag. Browser MP4 WebM Ogg Internet Explorer 9+ YES NO NO Chrome 6+ YES YES YES Firefox 3.6+ NO YES YES Safari 5+ YES NO NO Opera 10.6+ NO YES YES MP4 = MPEG 4 files with H264 video codec and AAC audio codec WebM = WebM files with VP8 video codec and Vorbis audio codec Ogg = Ogg files with Theora video codec and Vorbis audio codec
