Viewstate in ASP.NET

Hi friends We have 2 pages with same contents open from 2 different locations where is viewstate? Whether its same for both or different?

Each ASP.NET web page has its own ViewState which is stored by default in a hidden form field called __VIEWSTATE. Even if two pages have the same contents it doesn't follow that their __VIEWSTATE fields will have similar contents as you might have stored extra stuff in ViewState for one page but not the other one.
