If we click on submit button and textbox control viewstate false. what will happen?

By default ASP.NET has EnableViewState set to true this is why when you do a Postback the values are retained in the TextBoxes. If you set it to false and do a Postback The value is no longer there

Hi Hemlatha  In ASP.NET controls like textbox  check box etc internally implements IPostBackDataHandler . As a result even if the view state is false  during post backs  the data will persist . However label controls do not implement IPostBackDatahandler and if the view state is set to false  data will be lost during post backs . Hi Hemlata It means the ViewState of the textbox controls will not work - that is the values of the textbox controls will not persist between postbacks. i hope this is the answer of your question
