Visual C# OpenFileDialog problem

Question

I have an instance created of the openfiledialog object. It works fine for letting me select whatever file I am looking for. My problem is when I select the file and click OK it does not open my file. Why is that?

I know the openFileDialog ONLY pops up the dialogbox to select a file... What I am asking is WHAT CODE CAN I USE TO OPEN MY FILE AFTER IT IS SELECTED!!!

Why do you think that the openfiledialog object opens a file? Did you see anything anywhere saying it does?

Saying that microsoft has confused me does not tell me what I need to do to open my files I select.
