Visual studio does not show recent project window on startup

When i open the visual studio it always open http://www.visualstudio.com window Internet explorer window inside withe the script warning and secondly it did not open the recent projects which i worked on window.

Mark You can try to disable running of scripts from your browser settings and then set StartPage as default. Do let me know what happens on doing these steps

Hello Mark For setting Startup page you can go to View menu >> Start Page. Once the start page is opened you will see a checkbox in bottom left most corner with text 'Show Page on Start Up' and you are done.

my first issue besically due to issue two i have set the visualstudio.com as start page removing this and show the startup page as starter page solve the issue Shweta Lodha thanks so half part of your suggestion works for me

on every time when i open the visual studio the below screen comes in always and i click no four times then this script popup went away  then i close this inside browser window and start my work also my recent project list is not show check the attache picture

Mark Tabor It seems that Visual Studio inappropriately uses the settings for Windows Explorer which sets weather recent document history is shown. If you turn off the recent documents history for Windows Explorer you effectively turn it off for Visual Studio as well. Personally I think it is a mistake for Microsoft to be doing this however they have indicated that they will not be doing anything about this issue. Check the following registry key and make sure the setting is 0.
