i right clicked on the explored chat.mdf's table but it doesn't shows add table(it shows only refresh & blank properties options).

From this thread on ASP.NET forums Tools -> Extensions and Updates ... and select Updates . Install the updates related to SQL Server . Then you should be able to work in SQL Server environment and perform and execute SQL commands.

Sidra please once Refresh table. On refreshing the tables you will be able to see your table. If this is helpful for you then please accept my Answer.

Maybe because you do not have the SQL Server installed or perhaps you are not opening the file in Server Explorer.
