Want to maintain log of particular folder

Question

wanna create application where when user will open any file from particular folder i want to track it date time

 

its bit difficult if FileSystemWatcher object in .net as it does not give all the control over only notify me whenever file is created , changed , deleted or renamed, specially for multimedia files such as images/video files
