Query not showing the values on dropdownlist while by datasource databinding it showing the value  give some suggestion

Hi Please change your code: SqlDataReader res = cmd.ExecuteReader(); DropDownList1.DataSource = res; DropDownList1.DataTextField = location; DropDownList1.DataValueField = location ; DropDownList1.DataBind(); con.Close();
