WCF - Not able to invoke the the methods

Hi I'm not able to invoke the methods in WCF test client and also want to know how to debug WCF windows service.

Hi All Thanks for your reply. The actual problem is i have an excel which uses COM components to interact with service retrieve the data. These COM components are .net dlls. Excel has a several filter fields. If i enter value in a particular filter field and click on getdata button related data will display in next sheet. ValueDate is one of my excel's filter field. For that field if i enter any date and click on button i will get related data. But if i enter <01-Jan-2014 for example excel will throw an error. In this excel we are using VBA macro code. This excel will pass all field values as a parameter and call the webservice method which we have implemented. I want to apply a less than condition on ValueDate field of excel. So trying to know that how service is building query internally so that i can apply/implement logic. But not able to trace it. @Jignesh : we are passing value as parameter to the webservice method and using WCF buffer mode and stream mode. In test class to run the tests am able to attach webservice. But same methods which i have implemented in a class and want to debug means am not able to attach process. As soon as click F5 webservice test client window will appear by adding service automatically. But am not able to invoke the methods. Because those methods displaying with red mark. Can u please tell me how i can implement the above said requirement.

hi are you getting any error while invoke WCF from Test client? Test client does not support all type (return type and parameter type) like stream. this may the reason.

You can debug a running windows service go to Debug -> Attach to process -> find the name of the service and VS will attach to this running service.
