How WCF is more secure than Web Services? Please explain with examples. Thanks..

Hi Sujit Basically if you are going to use the service on internet the best binding to use is wsHttpBinding. It has an in-built security for encrypting the data which is transfered over the channel. In web services the data is not encrypted or even is WCF using basicHttpBinding data is not encrypted. basicHttpBinding exists in WCF only for those supporting old asmx web services. If you are going to use the Web service on intranet then the best binding would be netTcpBinding. It works on TCP Protocal and data is transfered using data packets.
