wcf service library,wcf service application why we need to.

Question

Hi friends,

I m very new to WCF.
i just started with WCF with one example program given by my t.l.

i need to access the table2 by using the table1 with the one column which is same as in table1 and table2 using wcf


but i dont understood what is the use of this. he asked me to do
 wcf service library after dll created then add new project wcf service application then add the ref of that already created dll here. then how to proceed. i got one way to proceed that if use that sll as assembly then the service can be sucesful hosted.


after this i created the aspx page i wrote the code by adding the service reference1 assembly here and run the program i got the output but how this service is useful here.
