Am a 2010 fresher can u please explain about why we need to make a communication between applications through web?  and please say some practical explanation about webservices and wcf applications.......

You can take a basic example of Airline Reservation or Train Reservation or Weather Report. All the above three are provided as a webservice in the Internet. Details should be unique all over the world. There were number of websites displaying and processing the above information like Airline Reservation Train Reservation & Weather report. These websites will communicate with those web services to get and post the details. Hence we need to communicate between application.
