Web services and compact framework

Question

Is somebody know if the Compact Framework allows to make embeded Web Services ? I know that tou can acces a web service from Win CE but I don't know if you can do one. Thanks Peteman

Thanks for the link Cheers. But it helps me for consuming a Web Service in the Compact Framework but not to create an embeded web service. It looks impossible...

This is my feeling too however I've seen somewhere that you can host a Web Service using C or C++ language and a COM component. So why it isn't possible in C#? Pete

I think you can only invoke web services using Compact Framework not create/host one. HTH Duddits
