Hi I am working on a windows app where in when a user enters his username his/her First_Name must be displayed on all forms of my app. I created everything but there shows an exception Configuration system failed to initialize Thank you

Well it seems that your app.config file has become corrupted as there's no appSettings section with a key of 'firstName' which your application depends on to show the name on each form. Do you have a backup of this file which you could use to restore the original settings?
