Sir I am doing software Development job. I want suggestion from you on the following topic. If we do extra work like solving hardware issues often than software development will it affect my software development career and learning new technologies?. Please reply.

Although it does take up time which could otherwise be spent on practising or learning new software technologies some knowledge of the hardware side is likely to prove beneficial in the long run particularly if you deal direct with clients. In my experience clients always have some hardware issues and so if you can talk sensibly about them or even solve them that's a useful skill to have. Even if you don't deal with clients it still gives you an 'additional string to your bow' (who knows what the job market may be like in say 10 years time) and may occasionally give you insights into why software isn't behaving as it should.
