What are the differences between windows forms and Web forms

Hi Can anybody tell me what are the major differences between windows forms and Web forms? I know that web forms are used for web applications and windows forms for desktop applications. Also performance of windows forms is better than web forms Thanks Tamcc

Basicly you said all. Plus you don't have to worry about the viewstate i.e. keeping user info between pages. And ofcourse the page classes and controls are a bit different.
