What are the special operators in C#?

I notice that in the third of Satyapriya's links it refers to space and parentheses as special operators. Technically these are not operators (as they have no operands as such) but punctuators used for grouping or separating other tokens in the C# language. Other punctuators include: coma colon semi-colon curly braces and angle brackets.

C# has a large number of operators which are listed in the link below together with their precedence: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/6a71f45d.aspx I am not aware of any of these operators being special in any way. Can you clarify what you mean by 'special' in this context?
