A Bin folder is meant to contain compiled assemblies(.dll files) for custom ASP.NET controls, components, or other code that you want to reference in your ASP.NET web application. Bin folder present in project root directory. Evrytime you rebuild the project in visual studio, it geneates new *.dll files in side Bin folder. If you change the .dll and write a new version of it to the Bin folder, ASP.NET detects the update and uses the new version of the .dll for new page requests from then on. Regarding MVC project structure, it mainly for Models, Contollers and Views folder.
