What is installed?

Hi all,

To jump right to the case, I want to create a DLL that checks if Windows 2000 server
is installed on the pc. If so then I would like to run the file scripting.exe.

I also want to check if SP3a or higher of SQL Server 2000 or MSDE 2000 is installed.

I think this is possible, I have checked every corner of the Internet, but could not find anything.
