hi Magic tables are nothing but INSERTED and DELETED table scope level (which are used in trigger) They are not physical tables only Internal tables. Magic Tables does not contain the information about the Columns of the DataType textntext or image.These are maintained by SQL Server for internal processing whenver an updateinsertDelete occur on table. You can also use the Magic tables with Non-Trigger activities using OUTPUT Clause in SQL Server 2005 2008 & 2008 R2 versions. hope this will help you.
