it is a paid exam and if you pass you will get certified. There is a long range of different MS certifications. Visit this link to learn more: https://www.microsoft.com/learning/en-us/certification-overview.aspx When it comes to usefulness of these certifications I am not fan of them for one simple reason - you can easily find the answers online so being certified doesn't necessarilly mean you are a PRO.
